Roll up, roll up, one and all! If you haven’t clocked on to Mischief yet then you are most certainly behind the times. A small but growing event, the Mischief fam have been gaining a formidable reputation over the last few years as purveyors of the finest parties and, in our experience here at JAM, they more then deserve it. Including the intricate turntablism of Danny Crash, the pikey-pop of My Bad Sister and the balkan-tinged, electro swing of The Electric Swing Circus, amongst many, many more; the main Mischief Festival, slated for September 20th – 23rd,  has surely one of the most interesting line-ups going this summer.

Taking the show on the road before hand however, the fam are holding various warm-up events, up and down our fair isle, the first of which went off in Bristol during May and featured both Ed Cox and Gypsy Unit. Now it’s Manchester’s turn to baton down the hatches and lock up its sons and daughters, as the Mischief train roles into town. We heard that the Antwerp Mansion were the only venue within twenty miles, hard enough to even think of letting these guys through the door, so big ups Antwerp! Although no official details of the night’s artists have filtered through yet, we can only assume that it’ll all be Fun, with a capital F! Get your glad rags on and get down to this on the 13th of July. You’ve been warned!
